Now on facebook....

As of this afternoon, less than 24 hours after putting the swap up on facebook, there are 16 participants. This makes me quite happy. Small things please me, what can I say?

Because the majority of the participants are either non or ex bloggers, and since thus far everyone is on facebook, I thought how smart would it be to make a facebook group? Pretty freaking smart, that's how smart. There's nothing like patting one's self on the back, is there?

If you join this group, you will be able to upload the picture of your fantastic ornament hanging on your tree for all of us to see. I can then steal that picture and load it onto the blog. You may say what's the point in both a blog and a group and that is a very good question. I sort of miss blogging and this may get me back into the blogging swing of things and it is also the chance to discover (and rediscover) some great blogs.

It's almost that time of the year...

For the last 2 years, Julie (who sadly no longer blogs) ran an ornament exchange. I really loved this swap so I asked her if she would mind if I sort of it took it over, so here we are...a new blog and all.

Sign up here, email me at emmamcdonnell@shaw.ca or facebook me if you would like to join. Sign up will go to until October 31, I'll assign you a swap partner over the weekend and let you know on the 3rd or 4th who you will be sending too. All ornaments should be mailed out by December 1st. Once you have received your ornament (and it will not be from the same person you sent one to) let me know and if you are a blogger I will link to your post. If you are not a blogger, I will post whatever you choose to say about your ornament and a picture if you send me one on this blog.
